GCS Vehicles UK and Sweden
BAE Systems GCS Vehicles have awarded Rockford Tier One Single Source Supplier status. Rockford are currently finalising the contract with BAE Hägglunds to form a working Partnership with Eltech Electronics SE to supply all electrical cable assemblies and enclosures across all platforms. Rockford have been supplying the Land System business (formally GKN Defence, Alvis, Vickers Defence Systems, Royal Ordnance and Hägglunds Vehicles) for more than 20 years.
Rockford have been awarded joint commodity lead by Thales Land and Joint for the supply of electrical cable assemblies and sub assemblies. This builds on the long term supply relationship Rockford has with Thales formerly Helio Mirror, Vinten and Avimo.
