Quality Engineer / All Sites
Duties: Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and production processes of an extensive range of electro-mechanical and electrical products. You will also be responsible for the coordination of customer and supplier PPAP investigations, containment action, 8D compilation and internal auditing of both processes and dispatch.
This role is a hands on position, where you will focus on getting actively involved on the shop floor, working with employees to identify any issues / problems through root cause analysis tools and techniques, and identifying and implementing permanent solutions. In addition, you may be required to carry out training such as Group Induction Training, Human Factors Training, and providing employees with the tools to work as part of the quality team on problem solving etc.
Skills & Experience: You will ideally be qualified to ONC level or equivalent in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline, fully conversant with Engineering principles. You will also be familiar with a range of electrical inspection equipment and be able to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications. Other skills include PC literacy, a full driving license and a forward looking and positive attitude. Experience of military electronics industry would be a distinct advantage
Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience.
