Rockford Components Ltd. are fully franchised to Deutsch Military & Aerospace Limited, for the supply of their range of military connectors and hold a substantial and varied stock of their DTS range to Mil-C-38999 series 3, HDJ range of EFA connectors to JN1003 and the RR series to Pattern 602 and Panavia PAN-6432, all available "off the shelf" in Zinc Cobalt, Cadmium and Electroless nickel finishes.

HDJ JN 1003 Series Connectors

                  • Qualified to Eurofighter standard J62.017 (JN1003)
                  • Medium and High Density arrangements.
                  • RFI fingers at mating interface & 360° back shell

                     serrations.
                  • Removable crimp contacts to MIL-C-39029.

The HDJ range of Deutsch connectors is a range of bayonet coupling connectors specifically designed to conform to new European standards for circular airframe use, the range is inter-mateable and inter-mountable with connectors conforming to UN29729, EN3372, J62017, VG96912 and the Deutsch AS range of connectors. Special features include 100% scoop-proof design utilising a hard face socket insert, elastomer interface and wire seals, RFI fingers at mating interface and 360° back shell serrations.

This rugged design offers the maximum resistance to vibration, shock and provides effective EMI shielding.  A general duty threaded connector, the DTS series offers thicker wall sections and greater coupling service with 100% metal to metal bottoming. A superior anti-decoupling system and proven dielectric contact retention, available in Electroless nickel, Cadmium and Zink Cobalt from stock.

MIL-C-38999 Series 1 Connectors

The MIL-C-38999 Series 1 connector offers a rugged shell featuring a quick release bayonet coupling, 100% scoop-proof contact protection with built in EMC protection. Both ranges are available in a choice of 46 standard platforms, accommodating from single to 128 contacts in nine standard shell sizes. A comprehensive stock of accessories including dust caps, cable clamps and both pre-braided and screen trap adaptors, is held in stock at Rendlesham.

MIL-C-38999 Series 3 Connectors

The DTS range of Deutsch connectors are qualified to MIL-DTD38999 series 3, EN3645 and JN1034, the rugged scoop proof design offers the maximum resistance to vibration, shock and provides effective EMI shielding. The connectors offer a thicker wall section and greater coupling surface with 100% metal to metal bonding. A superior anti-decoupling system and proven dielectric contact retention. The superior interfacial seals provide excellent moisture resistance. In a 360’ turn of the coupling nut, the DTS quickly mates and self locks. Elongated mounting holes allow the connector to inter-mount with existing Mil-C-38999 box or wall mount receptacles.

Rockford Components Ltd. hold a vast and varied stock of this connector range, which is available in a nickel finish cadmium & zinc cobalt olive drab.

Special Fibre - optic and Filter connectors are also available to customers individual specifications.

RR Series Connectors to Pattern 602

The Deutsch RR Series is a range of medium density, circular bayonet coupling connectors designed to meet the critical performance criteria required in military and aerospace programmes. This includes styles and layouts that are qualified to pattern 602 and approved to Panavia standards specification PAN-6432. The RR series has evolved around a standardised rear release contact termination system and is inter-mountable with all MIL-C-26482 variants, there are nine shell sizes from 8 to 24, and a range of power contacts from size 12 to 20 AWG. A range of accessories is stocked including, dust caps, clamps and shielded adaptors.
