Our partnership with TT AB Connectors has
developed over some ten years, to offer from stock a range of
connectors to suit all applications. The
ABB and ABCIR ranges of Military and Traction connectors are approved
to VG95234 and BS9522 F0032, and are available in either crimp or
solder terminations, high and low temperature inserts, and either Zinc
Cobalt or Cadmium olive drab finishes.
ABB MS Series
 ABB
MS Bayonet connectors are approved to BS9522 F0032, TDE77/R/42
(British Railway) and VG95234 (Germany).
ABB Connectors feature bayonet lock coupling, crimp or solder
contacts, protection against water ingress and excellent shielding and
continuity characteristics between mated connectors.
A polychloroprene insulator remains flexible at temperatures
up to 125°C during a 1000 hour test
programme, therefore ensuring insertion/extraction of contacts at all
times and continued grommet sealing capabilities.
Resistant to glycols, aromatic fuels and mineral oils.
ABB connectors accommodate accessories to the following
specification - BS9522 F0032, F0030 (5MS), and VG95234.
AB05 Series
AB05 connectors are fully approved to the
stringent requirements of BS9522-F0017 which supersedes Defence
Standard Specification 59-35 (Part 1), Section 3, Pattern 105, and
conform to US Specification Mil-C-26482, series 1 and solder. These
connectors feature bayonet coupling, or an alternative "push-pull"
version in shell size 10, and 12 for quick release applications.
Coupling nuts are front removable for servicing or replacement.
Insulators are polychloroprene and provide excellent solvent and
insulation resistance and environmental sealing. Accessories include
straight outlets, cable clamps, grommet sealing nuts, general duty
adaptors and protective caps.
SBMS Connectors
• Conform to the environmental requirements of
Mil-C-5015.
• Pressure sealed,
shock and vibration proof.
• Standard product
rated at -50°C to +100°C.
• High temperature
variant rated at -40°C to +190°C.
5MS connectors rationalise engineering
and simplify design by reducing overall size, and improving sealing
characteristics of standard Mil-C-5015, whilst still providing the
necessary interminability and inter-changeability features. A range of
braided screened adaptors and braid trap adaptors are available in
straight, 45° and 90° options to fit all shell sizes.
Other ranges of AB Connectors available from stock include AB06,
HTMS, HTABB, UKAN, MK38, ABPC.
