Are you detail‑driven, quality‑focused, and ready to play a key role in delivering high‑standard products? We’re looking for a Test & Inspection Technician to join our small Salisbury team and support our commitment to excellence in product quality, delivery performance, and continuous improvement.

 

You will perform Test & Inspection activities to correct standards and specifications while working flexibly across production, inspection, and test departments depending on business needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, precision, and being part of a collaborative, high‑performing team.

 

Hours

07.45am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday

07.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)

Plus optional overtime available!

Description & Responsibilities

• Working flexibly across production, inspection, and test areas based on business priorities.
• Ensuring all test and inspection activities support on‑time delivery of products.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and supporting 5S initiatives.
• Completing inspection, test, stage inspection, and final inspection activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Carrying out MK testing processes, recording issues, rework, and improvement opportunities.
• Performing tooling and equipment calibration in line with company procedures.
• Conducting annual PAT testing for all equipment.
• Monitoring production and quality processes, raising logs, and highlighting improvements.

 

Experience / Skills / Attributes

• Experience in Inspection, Quality Assurance, or Testing
• Strong communication skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet internal and external targets.
• Ability to work effectively to a production plan.
• A proactive, flexible, and team‑focused mindset
• Understanding of IPC610/620, ISO9001, AS9100 – desirable
